June 1998 ARRL VHF QSO Party

Here we are posed in front our antenna array.We had some difficulty with the antenna arrangement so we went with Plan B. There is a homebrew 8-element UHF antenna on top, a Cushcraft 10-element VHF beam in the middle, and a Cushcraft 5-element six meter beam on the bottom.
We operated from a camp near Smethport, Pennsylvania, FN01, at about 2100 feet ASL. We had a good time and made some decent contacts. Most importantly, we enjoyed amateur radio!
